AL-TPWS (Auto Location-Tire Pressure Warning System)

AL-TPWS contributes to tire life and fuel efficiency by displaying the pressure of each tire in the multi-information display. When low tire pressure is detected, the display shows the air pressure value of the affected tire in amber, together with an in-meter warning lamp.

SRS airbags

The GS F features dual-stage SRS airbags (Front seats), SRS knee airbags (Front seats), SRS side airbags (Front and outboard rear seats), and SRS curtain shield airbags (Front and rear door windows).

Drive-start Control

If an abnormal shift change from R to D, D to R, N to R, P to D, or P to R range is detected while accelerating, a warning is displayed in the multi-information display and power output is reduced to limit acceleration, helping to avoid a collision.

RCTA (Rear Cross Traffic Alert)

To assist safe reversing, RCTA uses quasi-millimeter-wave radars in the rear bumper to detect approaching vehicles in difficult-to-see areas behind the vehicle. When an approaching vehicle is detected, RCTA alerts the driver using a buzzer and an LED indicator in the relevant door mirror.

Blind Spot Monitor System

When the quasi-millimeter-wave radars in the rear bumper detect vehicles in adjacent lanes that aren’t visible in the door mirrors, the system activates an LED warning indicator in the relevant door mirror the moment a vehicle enters this blind spot.

LDA & AHB

Lane Departure Alert with Steering Control alerts the driver with a sensory alert using a buzzer and on the multi-information display if the system judges the vehicle is about to cross the lane markings without using the turn signals, and assists steering to avoid lane departure. In addition, Vehicle Sway Warning monitors steering operation and the vehicle’s position within a lane to detect vehicle sway due to driver in attention or drowsiness, and alerts the driver by a buzzer and on the multi-information display. Automatic High Beam System helps safe driving at night by instantly switching from high to low beam when the lights of an oncoming vehicle, or the tail lights of a vehicle in front, are detected.

Pre-Crash Safety System

When the millimetre-wave radar and monocular camera detect a collision with a vehicle ahead is likely, it alerts the driver using a buzzer and on the multi-information display, and activates pre-crash brake assist when the driver depresses the brake pedal. If the driver cannot depress the brake pedal, then it activates the pre-crash brakes to help avoid a collision or mitigate the impact force.

Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

In addition to maintaining a constant speed, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control uses the millimeter-wave radar and monocular camera to detect a vehicle driving ahead and maintain an appropriate distance between vehicles at speeds over 40km/h.

AHS (Adaptive High-beam System)

When the system detects a vehicle in front, it disables/enables independent LEDs in each headlamp to optimize light distribution, so that the high beams do not directly illuminate preceding or oncoming vehicles when driving at night. While AHS is activated, the low beams are always on.
