Motors The electric motors are capable of generating the peak amount of torque from zero RPM, realizing smooth and powerful acceleration at any speed. Additionally, the electric motors operate as generators when braking, recovering kinetic energy normally wasted as heat and converting it to electric power to charge the Hybrid battery.
