Ebrahim K. Kanoo (EKK), the exclusive distributor of Lexus vehicles in Bahrain, has announced the launch of the all-new Lexus ES in the Kingdom. The eighth-generation luxury sedan builds on the model’s longstanding reputation for quietness, ride comfort and premium quality, while advancing electrification, design, space and technology.

Developed to combine elegance with electrified performance, the all-new ES delivers smooth, composed driving and a more spacious cabin. Its “Clean Tech x Elegance” design brings together refined sedan proportions and a calm, sophisticated interior, creating a welcoming environment for every occupant.

Ayman Shehadeh, Senior Manager for Lexus Marketing, said: “We are pleased to introduce the all-new Lexus ES to customers in Bahrain. With the ES 500e joining the line-up, customers can experience fully electric Lexus luxury alongside the comfort, quietness and thoughtful technology that have long defined the ES.”

The new line-up offers a choice of electrified powertrains. The ES 350h pairs a 2.5-litre engine with hybrid technology for responsive performance and fuel efficiency. The ES 500e brings a fully electric option to the regional ES range for the first time, giving customers another way to experience the model’s quiet, composed character.

In the ES 500e, a large-capacity battery is positioned beneath the floor. Its low placement contributes to a lower centre of gravity, supporting stable vehicle movement while helping make efficient use of the vehicle’s architecture. The model’s all-wheel-drive system works with Lexus DIRECT4, which continuously adjusts front-to-rear torque distribution in response to driving conditions. By drawing on vehicle information such as wheel speed, acceleration and steering input, the system is designed to support traction and composed handling. This can help reduce unnecessary body movement through corners and during lane changes, contributing to a more settled ride for both driver and passengers.

The all-new ES is 165 mm longer than its predecessor, creating more room in the cabin and greater comfort for rear-seat passengers. A higher seating position supports easier entry and exit, while lower window lines improve outward visibility. Redesigned seats and enhanced sound insulation further contribute to a calm, comfortable interior.

Technology is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. The cabin features a 14-inch multimedia display and discreet controls that illuminate as a hand approaches, while retaining the tactile

response of physical switches. Lexus Safety System+ 4 provides driver assistance, and a new 3D view for the Panoramic View Monitor helps drivers check the vehicle’s surroundings when manoeuvring.

The launch of the all-new Lexus ES in Bahrain brings a new interpretation of the model’s enduring qualities. With a choice of hybrid and fully electric powertrains—including the ES 500e’s low-mounted battery and DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system—the new line-up combines electrified performance with the quietness, comfort and ease customers associate with the ES.
