Lexus Bahrain Hosts Exclusive “Lexus Experience” Event Celebrating Japanese Culture and Takumi Craftsmanship

Lexus Bahrain, a division of Ebrahim K. Kanoo (EKK), recently hosted an exclusive “Lexus Experience” event at the Lexus Arad showroom, in collaboration with the Japanese Embassy. The evening showcased the deep connection between Lexus and Japanese culture, highlighting the brand’s commitment to Omotenashi (selfless hospitality) and Takumi craftsmanship. 

The centerpiece of the evening was a captivating Ikebana demonstration by globally renowned artist Koka Fukushima, who brought to life the graceful art of Japanese floral arrangement, a tradition spanning over seven centuries. Meister Koka’s demonstration highlighted the intricate techniques and profound artistic expression inherent in Ikebana, captivating the audience with the beauty and symbolism of the arrangements. 

The event also featured a traditional Japanese tea ceremony and desserts, in addition to Japanese calligraphy, where guests were treated to a unique glimpse into the artistry and mindfulness inherent in these cultural practices.

Her Excellency Ms. Asako Okai, the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, graced the event with her presence and shared deeper insights into the art of Ikebana. “Ikebana is more than just arranging flowers; it's a reflection of harmony, balance, and respect for nature. I look forward to exploring further avenues with Lexus to showcase the richness of Japanese culture and its connection to the pursuit of excellence.”
