Centre of attention on this stunning new saloon is the boldest ‘spindle grille’ yet seen on a Lexus. HID (Xenon) headlights and L-shaped LED daytime running lights complete the purposeful look. In profile, the car’s athletic stance is complemented by a low bonnet, side ‘kick-up’ line and long coupé-like roofline, giving dynamic presence and exceptional roominess. Excellent aerodynamics result from details like extra smooth roof joints. Winglets on the rear lights and front door pillars increase stability and also reduce wind noise.
Pure Lexus
Relaxing in sumptuous leather seats, you’ll enjoy exquisite Lexus details like a beautifully finished central analogue clock. Built on the same line as the LS flagship saloon, the entire IS production line is overseen by Lexus ‘Takumi’ craftspeople. For a substantial increase in rear passenger legroom and a smooth ride, the car’s wheelbase has been extended by 70mm. The rear seats also fold 60:40 – ideal for transporting bulkier objects.
