As you come closer, it recognizes the key’s unique identification code and illuminates your path by activating the foot area illumination under the door mirrors and illumination of the non-slip side steps. To enter, just touch a door handle and it unlocks automatically. The key also stores the driver’s preferred seat position (it also slides back automatically for easy entry), steering wheel orientation and door mirror angles, and adjusts them accordingly. Approach the back door with your arms full, and you will appreciate how it opens automatically in response to the key’s wireless remote control (Optional).
