EVOLVING THE STEERING WHEEL
The multi-information switch, which places a range of information and functionality linked to the multi-information display within easy reach of the driver on the steering wheel, complements the simple operational feel of Remote Touch (Optional). Among its features is an open door window warning function that lets the driver close all windows with a single switch on the steering wheel, providing a reliable way of preventing the windows from being left open by mistake. In addition, a head-up display (Optional) projects various driving information on the lower windshield glass, enabling the driver to monitor them without needing to significantly alter their line of sight.
REMOTE TOUCH
The EMV (Electro Multi-Vision) display (Optional) can be changed by a touch of your fingertips without moving your hand from the center console. This revolutionary device, known as Remote Touch (Optional), lies at the heart of the new operational feeling provided by the cockpit. The system is designed to allow you to operate the screen from a distance, as if you were tracing actions with your fingers. Remote Touch makes it possible to intuitively control the on-screen buttons and pointer with the movements of your fingertips, by providing feedback to your hand via a knob that creates the impression of operating buttons on the screen.
ADVANCED INSTRUMENT PANEL
Combination meters featuring a three-dimensional layout and elegant indirect lighting offer the distinctive blend of advanced functionality and design for which Lexus is known, enhanced by a multi-information display using a white organic LED. The high-contrast display, which is designed for exceptional visibility, presents a range of easy-to-see driving and fuel economy information.

This sensation is made possible by the fact that a host of advanced comfort features combine with a spacious interior and exciting driving performance to heighten the cruising experience. As if the comfortable climate control, state-of-the-art HDD (Hard Disk Drive) Lexus Navigation System (Optional), and luxurious entertainment system which thoroughly considered both the front and rear seat occupants were not enough, you can also enjoy a panoramic roof (Optional) that uses a large glass panel to create an airy open feeling in the cabin. Together, these features fill your time with Lexus with excitement and calmness.
BEAUTIFUL YET FUNCTIONAL INTERFACE
The 8-inch wide EMV display is designed to generate easy-to-view, attractive graphics to reliably communicate important information, while further reducing the burden of operation. It brings together display and operation functions for the audio/visual, climate control, navigation, and other features. In addition to extensive basic functions, including beautiful map displays and fast route searches, the Lexus Navigation System has a convenient estimated time of arrival display and a route trace display function. The navigation system’s HDD (Hard Disk Drive) enables you to update map data using DVDs or USB memory devices. It also provides the functionality for hands-free calling with a Bluetooth compliant mobile phone.
ADVANCED MONITOR SYSTEM
The Parking Assist Monitor (Optional) and Side Monitor system (Optional) help you confirm clearance when parking and starting up by displaying video from areas around the vehicle that are difficult to see from the driver’s seat. When parking in a garage or parallel parking, the Parking Assist Monitor displays the rear view, along with guidelines to help with reversing maneuvers on the EMV display. The Side Monitor system displays video from a camera mounted in the underside of the front passenger’s seat-side door mirror, along with information such as the vehicle’s projected path based on steering inputs on the EMV display, helping the driver to check the right side of the vehicle and avoid obstacles caused by the difference in the radii of the arcs traced by the front and rear inner wheels when turning right. The system can be switched between an “overall display” and a “front area enlarge display”.
AUDIO AND CLIMATE CONTROL
Whichever seat you choose to sit in, and whatever the weather you’re driving through, Lexus makes cruising comfortable and enjoyable. The uncompromising pursuit of performance and functionality extends to the audio and climate control systems. The 15-speaker Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System (Optional) was developed in collaboration with Mark Levinson, known as the ultimate in high-end audio. The proprietary 7.1-channel surround sound speaker architecture lets you enjoy an acoustic space with a rich presence. The Lexus RX Premium Sound System with Lexus Display Audio is also available as an option. In addition, the center console box incorporates a USB/mini-jack for connecting a portable music player; when connected by USB, the player can be operated and song information displayed by the car’s audio system. With a Bluetooth and AV-profile compliant mobile phone or portable music player, you can also enjoy your music wirelessly over the vehicle’s speakers (Optional). Features of the auto air conditioning system include independent temperature controls for the front seats and a clean air filter that removes pollen.
